What’s on the ballot this November 5, 2024?

THE RIGHT TO FISH AND HUNT. — Proposing an amendment to the State Constitution to preserve forever fishing and hunting, including by the use of traditional methods, as a public right and preferred means of responsibly managing and controlling fish and wildlife. Specifies that the amendment does not limit the authority granted to the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission under Section 9 of Article IV of the State Constitution.

23 states, as of 2023, have already voted YES to guarantee the right to hunt and fish. Our right is not currently under direct attack, but if voted NO, future lawmakers have to ability to take away Floridian's right to hunt and fish, impacting the future generation of outdoorsmen and women. 

False information is being pushed out directing some Floridians to vote NO, such as the false narrative of "the gruesome “Internet hunt” sites, and that  "It could certainly tie the hands of future lawmakers to respond to currently unforeseen environmental consequences of hunting" ...attempting to convince you to vote NO, over a complete false, propaganda statement, stating "That’s why this amendment seems so scary."
